Although I cannot remember the last time Rick was home for New Year's Eve, tonight was still a great night. I was told I was the best mom in the whole world after announcing that we were going to get Pizza Hut tonight and they have the yummy breadsticks like the ones at Target. And THEN, we were going to make cupcakes with the new cupcake maker I got for Christmas. The kids watched Annie for the first time, the cupcakes were a hit (although I will buy frosting and cake mix the next time. Too much work!) and it was a night without fighting which is a huge plus!
