Happy New Year!

We have been busy trying to return to normal after the holidays and I have to say I am sad that Christmas is over already. The kids, Rick, and I had a wonderful Christmas. We made special trips to the Botanical Gardens, Coleman's Nursery exhibit in Portsmouth, and the Winter Wonderland at Hunt Club to view the light displays. We also had many family events including dinner at Rick's Nana's, my Aunt Sheryl's, breakfast with the Holzmachers and Babbs at our house, and Christmas dinner at Rick's parents' house. We discovered how much fun cornhole is and the kiddos received more gifts than we have room for and enjoyed every minute of it. Santa brought each of the kids jeeps and Trey's Jeep Hurricane has already been taken to the repair shop for service. At times, Collin's favorite toys are anything Trey got and Trey's favorite toys are anything Collin got. Will it never end? As for Torrence, she loves her baby dolls but she also loves trucks and cars. Her favorite word is puppy so we will see how long before her daddy caves in and gets her a real puppy.
